Our Process
The first step is to contact the Studio for an initial chat about what you’d like to achieve and practical elements like budget and timescales. If we decide to work together, this is the process we will follow:
No.1
Site Meeting and Brief
We’ll visit your site to discuss your project in more detail and get a feel for your location, property, and outdoor space. We’ll help you formulate ideas, asking the right questions to draw out what you really want from your garden.
No.2
Site Survey
Our team will conduct a thorough site survey and analysis, gathering crucial data on the landscape. From this, we can create a scaled plan for your space, including levels, drainage, existing trees, buildings, and anything else we need to consider.
No.3
Moodboards and Design Concepts
We’ll present mood boards, hand-drawn and CAD sketches, 3D visualisations and material samples to illustrate our design concept. We’ll refine the design through collaboration and feedback to ensure it perfectly matches your brief.
No.4
Planting Plan
We’ll develop a detailed planting plan to show the locations and quantities for each plant and tree. With everything personally selected by Natasha for your project, you can be assured of the best quality and perfect specimens for your garden.
No.5
Technical Drawings and Specification
Our team will produce technical drawings and written specification to allow accurate tendering and guide the construction phase, outlining the layout, hardscaping and other design elements such as the lighting plan.
No.6
Tendering
We help you with the tendering process, obtaining quotes from our network of trusted landscapers and contractors and adjusting our design, if needed, to align them with your budget.
No.7
Build Phase and Project Monitoring
We oversee the build phase to bring your garden to life with artistic precision and care. We offer tailored project monitoring, depending on the size of the project and the level of involvement needed. Natasha will visit your site at key points in the process and be on hand to answer questions as they arise to ensure design intention is maintained throughout your project to ensure the project runs smoothly.
No.8
Sourcing and Buying Furniture and Accessories
From seating and soft furnishings like bespoke garden cushions to outdoor cooking equipment, lighting, water features and planters, we’ll source and procure all the finishing touches for your project as per our design. We relish finding unique items that fit with the design for each of our gardens. Natasha’s extensive knowledge and expertise in this area ensure clients have something truly special.
No.9
Planting
To ensure everything looks as intended, Natasha personally selects trees and plants for every garden project. The delivery and planting is also arranged by the studio to ensure that every plant is in the correct place.
We provide an ongoing maintenance plan detailing how to maintain all the garden elements, including planting and hard landscaping. Further maintenance support can be arranged with local gardeners to keep your garden looking its best season after season.

Questions
-
We’re here to support you. We start with an initial chat to understand any ideas you have or specific features or elements you would like to include and discuss details like budgets and timescales. From there, we’ll organise a time to visit you at home and see your garden before putting together a quote for design fees and sharing more information on the process. Once you’re ready, we’ll share the T&Cs and our design brief questionnaire and take it from there.
-
We can use our network to help you find a trusted landscaper. Our full-service approach includes supporting you with the tendering process and recommending trusted contractors to ensure the completion of your garden to the highest standards.
-
Our full garden design service includes everything from initial consultation, site survey, design concepts, technical drawings procurement, and installation. Our design consultation service, on the other hand, provides expert advice and ideas to guide your garden project but doesn't include detailed drawings, plans or build support. Instead we only provide that will help you take the project forward yourself.
-
We collaborate closely with you to ensure our concept designs meet your expectations. If there is something you’re not completely happy with, we will revise our designs based on your feedback. We may also make minor revisions once you’ve hired your landscaper to help ensure the works align with your budget.
-
The timeline can vary depending on the project's complexity and scale. Once we understand your project’s specifics, we’ll provide a more accurate timeline. We would advise getting in touch with us as early as possible to allow adequate time for the design and tendering process to take place.
-
Our design fees vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, but as a guide, design fees start from £3,000. After the initial consultation and site survey, we provide a detailed quote.
We aim to deliver a design that excites and meets your needs while also fitting your budget. For a complete garden transformation, you should have available funds of between £30,000 and £150,000 or more. This is highly dependent on material choice and elements you want to include, landscaper build costs.
